Ultimate destination is Leipzig

We will be flying to Leipzig in November, via Paris. Does anyone know if we have to go through immigration in Paris before catching a connecting flight on to Leipzig? If we do have to go through immigration in Paris, how much time should we allow between flights?

Usually in CDG or any other major hub one should want to have at least 2 hours between flights in order to make ones connection and more importantly

have ones luggage make it as well. It only takes a half hour delay landing or getting through security

to make a transfer a bit hectic!
