Air France advice

Hello. I have booked a flight for my husband and I to travel to Munich for Oktoberfest this year, then on to Austria and Italy following that. My concern is my choice of airlines. I booked Air France departing San Francisco with a one hour fifty minute layover at Charles De Gaulle (sp?) Paris. I have since heard horror stories about lost luggage with AF at CDG and am considering changing my flight plans to fly another airline arriving Frankfurt instead (with a two hour connection in Newark, NJ). Has anyone had any experience with Air France, good, bad, or otherwise? Thank you!

Air France usually has very low fares but in my opinion 90 minutes to change planes in CDG may be too quick for your luggage to follow. I also think you would be best served with Lufthansa for the other

places you are flying into. You have more options to and from Munich that way. I have avoided Air France for my whole life due to the stories and experiences my friends have had with them.
